Dr. Mirza, a King Edward Medical College graduate, commenced his career with the Pakistan Armed Forces in 1976. Specializing in Pathology, he earned diplomas in Grading and MCPS in Clinical Pathology (1978). Furthering his education, he obtained an M.Phil in Chemical Pathology from the University of Punjab (1985), becoming the first FCPS in Chemical Pathology (1986). With extensive experience in laboratories, including service at the Armed Force Institute of Pathology and the Aeromedical Institute of Pakistan Air Force, he has been a stalwart on medical college faculties for over 22 years.
